before exit, every step counts

Let me just say this first, I'm terrible with blogs. My mind is always elsewhere and would be rather getting things done, and did I mention I am not an english major for very good reasons. I have a tendency to cut people off, by no reason its because I like or dislike them, its just because I'm always looking at the pathways ahead of me. To make a deal with my conscious I have decided to adapt the blog life and let everyone know what is happening with my life. So here goes the first step.

Izmir, Turkey. My next destination. The movers came last week and picked up all my belongings, I am left with what I can carry with me to the airport. It's given me this odd feeling that there's not much left here for me in rural minot, nd. I am the sort of person who who loves stuff, I buy things, keep them at the house and they make my feel at home. (homebody? I think so) So now I'm left with nothing but myself, memories and dirty clothes. All my stuff is gone to turkey waiting for me.

People ask me all sorts of questions about how do I feel about going. I'm no longer excited, worried, stoked, sad or whatever people ask. I am just ready. Ready and waiting. I am just about done with closing up lose ends. All thats left is mapqesting the road ahead of me, make some hotel reservations and get going. This weekend I drive off to St Louis to drop off my car at the port, then from there I'll be flying.

People are asking for me to send them pictures when I'm there of all the sites. This week hopefully I'll be getting a digital camera and I'll post whatever catches my eyes. I'm sure there will be lots out there.

I think I'm going to squeeze another post before I leave. I'm sure nothing is going to change so maybe some personal things that are itching my mind
